The Fifteenth International Symposium on Experimental Mineralogy, Petrology and Geochemistry will be held in the city of Zurich from Sunday, 5 June to Wednesday, 8 June 2016.
Presentations (oral and poster), exhibition, registration and social events (except conference dinner) will be held at the main ETH Zentrum campus in the centre of Zurich in Building NO of the Department of Earth Sciences (with some oral sessions in the directly adjacent Machine Laboratory building).

Oral Presentations
Oral presentations will take place simultaneously in the two lecture theatres (NO C 60 in the Earth Sciences building and ML H 44 in the adjacent building of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering). The plenary lecture on Monday morning, June 6, 09:15 will be held by George D. Cody and will last 45 minutes, each of the invited lectures last 30 minutes and all other talks last 15 minutes, including time for questions and discussion (i.e. 12 + 3 minutes). Each lecture theatre will be equipped with beamers and computer facilities. Oral presentations should be provided on USB Sticks and will be copied onto the laptops before the presentation starts.

Poster Presentations
Poster sessions are located in the focusTerra museum hall of the Earth Sciences Building NO. Posters will be displayed on boards of 100 cm (40”) width by 160 cm (64”) height, we strongly recommend the preparation of posters with A0 size (width 90 cm (36”), height 120 cm (48”)); posters in landscape format cannot be accepted. Posters will be displayed in two consecutive poster sessions (Sunday - Monday and Tuesday - Wednesday). Official poster sessions are Monday afternoon for the first and Wednesday afternoon for the second session. Authors are expected to be present during the official poster sessions.
Posters can be mounted for the first session starting Sunday, 14:00 and they will be displayed until Monday evening. Posters for the second session can be mounted starting Tuesday morning, 07:30 and they will be displayed until Wednesday evening.

Public Transport
Zurich is easily accessible by plane, by train, and by car. Public transport in the city of Zurich is excellent. We will issue a public transport ticket to each delegate. The ticket is valid from Sunday, 5 June through to Wednesday, 8 June 2016 within the entire city of Zurich and for the transport from the airport to the city centre. The ticket is valid on trams, buses and train services to connect the conference venue, hotels, and hostels located in the city of Zurich. Pre-registered delegates will receive a PDF document with the public transport ticket prior to the conference to allow transport from the airport to the city. With on-site registration, the ticket will be issued upon registration.
